This standalone watch app is designed for GA pilots to effortlessly locate nearby airports while in-flight. The user-friendly interface displays essential information such as current distance, magnetic heading, field elevation, runway details, communication frequencies, and published remarks for surrounding airports. The color-coded backgrounds are aligned with sectional charts to differentiate between towered and non-towered airports, with a distinct shade for private airports. The "Map It" feature allows users to visualize their current location relative to a selected airport and access vital information by clicking on the airport identifier on the map (text-to-speech enabled). The app is compatible with Watch OS version 9.0 or higher and features a search function for quick airport lookups by identifier or partial match (limited to 100 results for optimal performance). Operating independently from a data connection, it includes information on all airports registered with the FAA as of the latest version release.
